A legendary hotel since 1925

History of La Trémoille Paris

Louis II, Sire de la Trémoille, was one of the great names of the Renaissance period. At the head of the armies of Kings Charles VIII, Louis XII and François 1er, he restored civil peace and worked for the reunification of the kingdom of France. Paris honors its memory with the name of a street to which the hotel La Trémoille owes its own, and a part of its prestige…

Originally a private residence, the luxury establishment known under the name of Hotel La Trémoille was born in 1925. Legendary personalities from music and cinema have always appreciated this prestigious address just around the corner from the Champs-Élysées. Evidenced by the black and white photograph hung in the entrance of the hotel where Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington appear.
